A fabric posy takes time to assemble. Melting fabric edges for shape and finish.
Layer upon layer of fabric pieces give a lovely fullness.
I love these colours. I would like to know your thoughts.
What do you think?
Hi Joan...This is Penny from Tanglewood Threads...and thank you for visiting. I have just enjoyed a lovely wander through your blog. This posy and all your other blossoms are gorgeous, fit for a beautiful bride. You have a great way with fabric manipulation.
I just got over your blog and I am very impressed with all your work. They look gorgeous and I do believe is a very meticulous job to do them. Love the colour combination too.
I also just came across your blog. Your flowers are beautiful. I would like to see how you use them. I also thought about a bride's bouquet. I also think about those old hats that women used to wear, and some still do. Love them. Come visit. Hugs, Cameron
Hi Cameron and all who have kindly commented. I often have a peek at your blog, Cameron, to see your latest creative work. I do enjoy what you do. An inspiration for me. The boquet is displayed on my Mothers old Singer Sewing Machine at present. The colours look great against the oak colouring of the machine. Creativity soothes and feeds my soul. I practise it regularly.
i was just blog surfing and i came across your blog. i have to say that i was totally smitten with this fabric flower bouquet! the next time a friend gets married i might just need to suggest making these for her.
